Show and tell

Fabulous day at the club today despite the colder weather. We have our homespun to wear and it keeps us warm! We have plenty of ideas and this month we are looking to support charities and that always makes you feel warm. Since Alexis suggested we have a donation box on our exchange table we have collected a very tidy sum to donate to charity this month. The exchange table has been very successful this last couple of years. What we don’t want finds a good home and use. It is also great to see members learning new skills as well. Someone will always help them get better and so they reach good levels of achievement very quickly. Doing something new always get the creativity and conversations going.

Tips for better felting

treetops colour harmonies has some great tips on its site for producing good quality felting. Jan E, one of our experienced felters shared the site with us. Read into the site and you will get so many ideas as to how to achieve better quality fabric when you are felting. Experience matters, but so does learning from experienced people who know what they are talking about.
