Cream poncho

cream ponchoThe embossed effect of the pattern in the cream wool is what makes this poncho. It’s also a poncho you can wear as a tabbard top or tunic. It’s a knitting classic and very versatile. Wendy is a perfectly capable spinner but , as she said, it’s the commercial wool which is giving the top its perfect look and the visual balance in colour and texture which is needed. We talked about it , though, as we do. Homespun wool would give it a completely different look and it would be incredibly warm so it might be something you’d want to try.

poncho patternThe buttons on the side of this poncho are a good idea. You can button it so it doesn’t flap or fall forward as you bend or get blown over you in the wind. It then offers a different look for styling. It’s a Bendigo Woollen Millsย pattern. Wendy’s neat knitting is doing this classicย  justice.
