Fingerless gloves

fingerelss glovesWe are fans of fingerless gloves. You can keep your hands warm but not hamper yourself in all the arty, crafty, yarny things you want to do. It is a good way to use up oddment wool too. Margaret had made a beautiful pair of crochet gloves in lovely colours and Cathy had used the wool she had dyed at the dyeing workshop to make herself a cheerful pink pair of gloves. Hilary had used handspun wool to make some lovely fingerless gloves in a soft blue-grey colour with a Scandinavian star on the back of each glove. We really liked the colours.  In colder climates you need longer cuffs to keep the cold off your fore arms. They don’t take long to make and are a great asset in the cooler weather. There is a knitted pair on video here.fingerless glovesfingerelss gloves
