We’ve had fun with our oddments projects. It’s the part of us which can set us free and just let us use our brains and imagination because we are working with oddments and we have to find a way to make them look good. Cathy made two Fair isle beanies for her grandson from the wool left over from her jumper as well as two adult beanies. She then created her little doll character, Indigo-Ray, from oddments she had had left over from other projets. She knitted the doll parts and mixed in core spun wool to create the hair and little skirt. Collecting oddments until we have enough to make a project is part of how we organise our spinning. It really has been an enjoyable part of our woollie world this year.
