Troubleshooting spinning

There are all sorts of problems which can occur when you spin yarn. You just resolve them one at a time. When your wheel accidentally picks up your unspun wool then those are lessons in patience and tolerance as you carefully disengage the unspun yarn. Losing the end of the thread onto the bobbin as you spin is one of the most annoying things. Alexis suggests using a toothbrush. Others suggest sticky tape. There are some other ideas here. When all else fails just start spinning again and find the end when you wind your yarn into a skein. Over and under spinning can create problems and are usually brought about by the wrong drive band for the yarn or tension problems.
