Hilary and Marjorie both reminded us about the chicken challenge and the AGM on April 30th.
There are only 2 weeks to finish, start or think about your chickens before the rest of the group vote on them. It’s a shared lunch so bring your appetite along & enjoy all the delicious goodies.
Show and tell:
Marina had finished her alpaca jacket in light brown plied with white cotton.
Cathy 2 balls of spun wool. The orange sorbet wool batt she had drum carded and then, to the right, the one dyed with red cabbage which posed a smelly problem.
Hilary had knitted a bright multi-coloured beanie with a long tail & wooden beads and a small child’s beanie made from felt over blue wool.
Wendy posed a brain teaser with a bag of light fawn fibres & asked if anyone could identify them. They were Pomeranian dog fibres from her fluffy Pomeranian which Wendy intends to blend & spin at some time ( the fibres , not the dog). It will be interesting to see the results.
