This knitted plastic yarn (plarn) bag of Marina’s drew even more comment and interest than the crochet one last week. Some people are ridding us of the scourge of plastic bags one bag and one project at a time. These can be recycled in the Red Cycle program at supermarkets once their day is done. Marina knitted this bag and it folds in half nicely to sit neatly under your arm. She has lined it in lime green silky material which is very light but you can see the sheen through the bag so there’s a nice visual effect. Nice to know there are so many people out there using there yarn skills to save the environment.
