Marina brought along her plarn beach bag which intrigued all of us. Plarn is the name for yarn made from plastic bags. It looks surprisingly good. Marina has lined her bag and put a zip on it because it is for the beach. It feels softer than you think and because it is upcycled plastic then the plarn offers some protection from rain or ocean water. It’s a good way to get rid of excess plastic bags . If you make the bag only from plarn you would then be able to put it in the Red Cycle bin for further , commercial, recycling. Bit of an environmental win there. Marina’s bag is really lovely because she has made it so well.
